Thankful for Family 2024

Thanksgiving 2024 has come and gone1. We had a good Thanksgiving, and all of our family was together for the first time in a little while. So, of course, we had to take some photos.

Here we all are together. And yes, I had just run in after setting the timer on the camera.

Just the Bramletts for this photo. Here we all are together. Some people in this photo may be slightly taller than the last time we were together.

Here are the parents by themselves.

Next up, we have the three of us Burnses and Jazmin. And no, I did not have to set the timer for this one.

And to close things out for our photo time, Laura and me.

Thankful

As the title says, I am thankful for family, both our immediate family and our expanded family, too. We get to see some family members more than others. And then there are parts of the extended family that we have not seen in a long time, but we still love them, too. Families provide comfort, encouragement, training, resources, and of course, love.

I realize that not everyone is blessed with a loving family. If you do not, be sure to find friends who are like family.2

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV

  1. And how is it already December? When Thanksgiving happens late in the month of November, it always throws me off! ↩︎

  2. We have those, too, and we had a Thanksgiving gathering with them the next day, although we did not take any photos, which is a little unlike us. But Christmas is coming! ↩︎
