I was recently sprucing up the pages of our 2022 Disney Cruise. During that cruise, the ship docked at Cozumel. And during our wanderings, we came across an interesting cemetery. You can read all about it and see more photos in the post 2022 Disney Cruise Report Day 3 - Cemetery in Cozumel.

I went back to the photos I took from that trip, and I found this one that had not been included in the original post, and I thought it would be good to share here. I have fond memories from our brief visit to that cemetery, so it was fun to look back at the photos again.

Blessings of Memories

One of the reasons that I love photography is that it can help to remember events of the past and the people that were there. And we can share those memories with others who were there, or tell others who were not there about them. Yes, some people often groan when you mention showing them your vacation pictures, but other people are genuinely interested.

I am thankful for all those memories brought back by the different photos that I have. I often enjoy looking back and seeing where we went and what we did, along with who else was there with us. It can be a great blessing to have those reminders, especially of the people who are close to you who may not be around anymore.

Take lots of photos, because they will be a blessing in your future.

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. - Psalm 77:11-12 ESV

About the Photo

Two black and white photos in a row? Yes, this one immediately follows the previous post, which also included a black and white photo. I guess I am on a roll right now. When I saw the photo above, I immediately thought it would be a good black and white photo. Yes, the color version might have reminded me of the Pixar movie Coco more, but there is something I really enjoy about this black and white version.
